Job Summary

The Production Manager will lead the production team, ensuring the successful execution of all production activities to meet productivity, delivery, quality, and cost targets. This role is crucial in supporting the company’s transformation margin and operating income goals by planning and optimizing manpower allocation and utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing all production activities to ensure departmental KPIs are met.
• Leading manpower planning, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in line with company goals.
• Setting productivity goals and KPIs for the production department, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Assigning staff to meet departmental objectives and improve workflow efficiencies.
• Facilitating production department meetings, and generating actionable plans to address KPI performance.
• Presenting departmental metrics and improvement strategies during management meetings.
• Motivating and supporting production staff to ensure the achievement of targets and KPIs.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and health standards to maintain an accident-free workplace.
• Optimizing the use of production capacity, manpower, equipment, and resources to maintain high labour efficiency.
• Continuously assessing and improving production processes, proposing and implementing agreed-upon changes and implementing lean manufacturing initiatives to drive improved business results.
• Collaborating with other departments to enhance overall production effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: 5 -7 years of experience in Production Management or as a Production Supervisor within the EMS or Electronics industry.
• English: Must have a high level of proficiency in the English language.
