Job Description

Our client is Thailand's brewery established over 80 years ago, is a privately owned company that has become a well-known producer of beer and beverages.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., brand, asset management) to ensure a clear understanding of contract benefits and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Conducting comprehensive research (both primary and secondary) to collect data for merchandise development, ensuring optimal usage.
  • Regularly analyzing market trends, providing strategic insights to senior leadership on merchandise trends, usage patterns, and value propositions.
  • Designing and developing a range of merchandise items, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and brand strategy.
  • Planning, managing and executing the annual merchandise development strategy, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Identifying, sourcing, and negotiating with suppliers (domestic and international) to secure high-quality merchandise that maximizes value.
  • Overseeing and managing merchandise inventory to ensure efficient stock levels and minimize waste.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6-10 years of experience in merchandising, with additional experience in marketing or brand management, considered a plus.
  • Proven expertise in developing sourcing strategies for premium products, particularly in the souvenir or alcohol industry.
  • Strong creative mindset with a demonstrated ability to build and manage successful partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication.
