Responsibilities

• Managing the company's overall sourcing strategy.
• Evaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to top management for approval.
• Analyzing and calculating purchasing costs and developing cost reduction strategies.
• Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends.
• Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.
• Collaborating with the purchasing department to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities.
• Supplier quality performance report analysis.
• Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts.
• Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong vendors.
• Developing creative, value-focused sourcing strategies in line with business needs.
• Professionally managing and measuring suppliers for continuous performance and improvement.
• Planning and monitoring to apply new technology supporting department/ unit goals.
• Identifying material issues from faulty/damaged returns quality data and working with suppliers to claim and improve quality.
• Following up on any QA inspection, rejections, and actions.
• Following the business calendar timeline to ensure the operations of a team.
• Developing a yearly budget depending on sourcing needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply chain, Logistics, or related fields.
• Previous working experience as a Sourcing Specialist / Manager for 5-10 years.
• Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communicator and have strong relationship and management skills.
• Proactive approach and working efficiently.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
