Job Description
Our client manufactures control circuit boards for all types of electronic devices in the EMS industry.
Key Responsibilities
- NPI Project Management: Leading the NPI process for new product launches, ensuring timely and efficient transition from prototype to full-scale production.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Process Development: Designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes and workflows that meet product specifications and quality standards.
- Documentation: Preparing and maintaining necessary documentation for new product introductions, including process flows, work instructions, and production specifications.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and issues related to new product launches, and proposing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Continuous Improvement: Implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in NPI engineering or a similar role within the EMS industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficient in CAD.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements in the EMS industry (e.g., ISO, IPC).
