Job Description

Our client is a leading local provider of Generic Drugs. This company is comprised of professionals who are passionate about their role in bringing their Pharmaceuticals to their customers. 

This position will be responsible for supporting the growth ambition of Southeast Asian markets (VN, TH, PH, HK, SG, ID, MY) with Portfolio activities and limited BD activities (select and limited In- and Out-Licensing).

Responsibilities

  • Handling new product assessment & evaluation of first-to-market generics, value-added generics, biosimilars, and NCEs including product introduction and business case preparation.
  • Leading Portfolio review meetings to drive pipeline prioritization, and organizational alignment and provide stakeholder visibility.
  • Handling the lifecycle tracking of Lotus SEA portfolio (generics, NCEs/branded products, 5052B, biologics).
  • Creating portfolio support for Strategic Partnerships negotiation and BD in- and out-licensing talks.
  • Gathering business intelligence on the competitive landscape and updating the annual Wishlist regularly.
  • Updating portfolio information tools, reports and databases as new information becomes available.
  • Leading local BD deals if any and driving forecast negotiation and pricing assessment for select products.
  • Supporting portfolio re-prioritization initiatives for pipeline products.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the brand and generic Portfolio, BD and Strategy gambit.
  • Practical business thinking and an eye for an "out-of-the-box" approach to portfolio needs.
  • Good understanding of various regional market dynamics and regulatory requirements in SEA alongside the IP environment.
  • Sharp analytical skills and ability to dive into cross-regional analysis based on various dimensions.
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Effective communication skills with a good command of English.
  • Flexibility to travel when necessary.
