PRTR are in collaboration with an international company seeking for a new Director of Operations. The company has a huge growth plan to double its revenue over the next 5 years and has many exciting projects in the pipeline.

Role Summary

The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall smooth running of operations, ensuring efficient P&L management, managing production schedules, Quality, manpower and material costs, sales and maintaining high product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Taking charge of daily plant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Developing and rolling out production plans to meet customer needs while maximising resource use.
  • Hitting production targets without compromising on quality standards.
  • Handling streamlines material management processes with strategic planning.
  • Upholding rigorous quality control to exceed customer expectations.
  • Champion continuous improvement to boost product quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Implementing and maintaining ISO certifications (ISO 9000, ISO 13485, TS16949, ISO 14000).
  • Leading, guiding, and inspiring a diverse team, by fostering teamwork and a strong safety culture.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Key Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities

  • At least 8 years of production/manufacturing management experience within a Plastic Injection moulding or Cosmetic Packaging environment.
  • Experienced in production planning and material control management and Quality within plastics manufacturing Cosmetic Packaging environment.
  • Experience with ISO 9000, TS16949, ISO 14001, IATF16949.
  • Experience leading product development and NPI is a must.
  • Comfortable with presentations to customers and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable ability to drive sales and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English as well as fluency in the Thai language.
