Our client is a leading global automotive accessories company.

We are looking for a Senior and Junior level Product Design Specialist to join our key client.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing engineering drawings, analyzing designs and retrieving information to complete drawings, layouts or designs.
• Using Solid work and CATIA software to develop layouts, drawings and designs that meet engineering specifications.
• Constructing drawings for new products and updating them as required.
• Making design calculations, design decisions and conducting the necessary analysis and computer simulations.
• Working closely with test & evaluation engineers and technicians, plant personnel and suppliers regarding product design and test and production schedule dates.
• The Design Engineer works with customers, dealers and other departments throughout the resolution process.
• Initiating and developing plans and controlling the stages through production release.
• Approving or rejecting engineering design deviations or change requests from other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant fields.
• 4 – 8 years experience in R&D, New Product Improvement, NPI, Design, and Development.
• Should have experience in Metal part / Fabrication / Injection Mold.
• Strong in using CATIA or SOLID WORK (Designing test will be involved upon interview).
• Good English Communication is a must. (Interview will be held in English).
