Role Overview

As the Director of HR Group Management for our Property Commercial and Hotel Business, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our HR strategy to align all properties with our centralized HR centre. This position requires a profound understanding of labour laws, compensation and benefits frameworks, and the ability to craft cohesive policies that enhance operational efficiency and foster employee satisfaction across multiple properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies that align with organizational goals and ensure consistency across all properties.
  • Collaborating closely with General Managers (GMs) and HR Directors at each property to understand local nuances, and challenges, and support new property development projects in the initial phase with HR.
  • Knowing Property business, Property Commercial and Hotel business. 
  • Ensuring alignment with corporate HR policies and being able to support new property development projects since the initial phase as part of HR.
  • Providing expert guidance on labour law compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices to mitigate risks and foster a positive work environment.
  • Designing and overseeing competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent within the hospitality and property management industry.
  • Leading initiatives to standardize HR processes, enhance operational efficiency, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of HR professionals, fostering their development and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to senior management, contributing to decision-making processes and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    Extensive experience 10 years in senior HR management roles within the property management or hospitality industry. 
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and HR practices applicable to multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing effective compensation and benefits strategies that support business objectives.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Business English Communication skills, Initiative and leadership skills.
