Responsibilities
- Creating basic designs of parts by new model conceptual designs by using CATIA V5.
- Collaborating with the new model committee team.
- Being part of the team to design and develop products according to company procedures and agreements with customers.
- Ensuring the design integrity and security of customer and company data.
- Conceptualizing development and layout design.
- Making detailed part design including 3D design, 2D detailing and GD&T.
- Designing responsibility for the integrity of all math data transferred from company sits to customers and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Product design skills using CATIA and NX.
- Knowledge of GD&T and APQP, ISO/TS16949, PPAP (preferred).
- Candidate has plastic injection moulding process knowledge (preferred).
- Candidate should have excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), and must be able to use them efficiently.
- Knowledge of FMEA / DRBFM.
- Able to travel from time to time for overseas assignments at short notice.
