Responsibilities

• Being responsible for the whole process quality of the Plating process, including but not limited to the abnormality handling, the analysis of the quality issues or production defects, the investigation of such defects root causes and the definition of corrective/preventive actions to avoid them, customer feedback and complaint management, follow up and solve the problems as cross-functional team leader.
• Coordinating for the Plating process Quality team defining the team's daily work arrangement and long-term performance improvement plan and team development.
• Being responsible for the Inspection process, daily process audit and corrective actions for the audit findings.
• Working closely with the production team to achieve and improve the quality KPIs.
• Working with SQM or other quality teams on the incoming material quality forthe  Plating process.
• Implementing projects for the reduction and the continuous improvement of the defect rate, the material extra consumption and the overall operating costs.
• Providing analysis and reporting on the Quality KPIs and performance for the Plating process to the local and corporate teams.
• Creating a definition of Quality SOP and Working Instructions.
• Being responsible for the Plating process quality documentation and relevant training.
• Making sure that Safety, Manpower and 5S principles are followed in the quality team working area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Plating process quality control or similar industries.
• College degree or above, preferably with a Major in Engineering or similar.
• Good English written and spoken communication.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office software package (Excel and data analysis).
• Logical Thinking and Problem-Solving Attitude, Target Oriented Mindset and Capability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong coordination, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid mechanical background, with process quality control experiences in the injection or metal production industry.
• Familiar with common quality tools, Six Sigma knowledge or project management experience preferred.
• SAP system knowledge is a plus.
