We are seeking a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager for our client to run the supply chain and logistics department strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Implementing Supply Chain Strategies: Formulating and executing comprehensive supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and responsiveness within the retail sector.
  • Overseeing Logistics Operations: Managing transportation, distribution, and delivery processes to ensure seamless operations and timely product availability across retail outlets.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: Working closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to optimize cost-effective logistics solutions, ensuring alignment with retail objectives.
  • Monitoring Performance Metrics: Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) in logistics and supply chain operations, implementing improvements as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
  • Managing Inventory Systems: Implementing and maintaining inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels across all retail locations, preventing overstocking or stockouts.
  • Conducting Inventory Audits: Performing regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records, addressing discrepancies promptly.
  • Forecasting Demand: Collaborating with merchandising and sales teams to forecast demand accurately, aligning inventory levels with consumer purchasing patterns.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring all logistics and supply chain activities comply with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining high standards of operational integrity.
  • Generating Reports: Preparing and presenting detailed reports on supply chain performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Several years of experience in supply chain or logistics management within the retail industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of retail operations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of transportation regulations and industry best practices relevant to the retail sector.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple shipments and retail locations efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in inventory management and reporting.
