Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of medical devices in the Northern area.

The company is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Molding Engineer to join the team. This position will be based in Lamphun.

Job Description:

• Designing and developing molded products to meet performance and quality standards.
• Establishing and maintaining a reliable manufacturing system to ensure consistent product quality.
• Overseeing and optimizing technical operations for stable production processes.
• Conducting validation processes for new products and implementing necessary process changes.
• Updating and revising QMS documents related to validation procedures.
• Providing production support, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing non-conforming materials (NCMR).
• Assisting in drafting technical drawings and conducting Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews.
• Tracking project progress, coordinating meetings with relevant departments, and reporting updates to management.
• Monitoring team performance, providing coaching, and supporting skill development for subordinates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in injection molding engineering of plastic.
• Preferred background in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or food and beverage industries.
• Experience in transferring molds to mass production.
• Experience in validating new materials, new products, new processes, process changes, etc.
• Good English communication skills are a must.
