We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development professional to assist in expanding our metal cans business into the Asian market. This position will focus on evaluating opportunities, conducting market research, and supporting go-to-market strategies for successful entry into new Asian markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities to expand the metal cans business across key Asian countries.
  • Conducting in-depth market research to gather insights on consumer trends, competition, and regulatory requirements in target Asian markets.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with local partners, distributors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth market entry and growth.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and market segmentation.
  • Tracking and reporting on sales performance in new markets and suggesting improvements to optimize growth.
  • Collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to support market-entry initiatives.
  • Providing administrative support, including managing budgets, timelines, and reporting for market expansion projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in any field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in business development, marketing, or related roles.
  • Market Knowledge: Basic understanding of Asian markets and regional business practices.
  • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with partners and distributors.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and numerical skills to assess market data and make informed decisions.
  • Language Proficiency: Business-level proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of additional Asian languages is a plus.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the Asia region for research, meetings, and partnership development.
