Our client is a global automotive parts manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Issuing procedures and work instructions, ensuring the implementation of measures for utility operations.
- Raising awareness, conducting regular ESH training, and providing information on ESH responsibilities and duties.
- Ensuring immediate notification and response to unsafe or polluting hazards, and initiating preventive measures.
- Maintaining the stability of utility supply, including compressed Air, Water Station, Chillers, Cooling Tower, HVAC, Boiler, Vacuum System, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Fire Prevention, RO, Gas Station, and Steam Recovery System.
- Ensuring utility equipment readiness for temporary solutions and corrective actions to restore machines.
- Overseeing machine PM and yearly plant shutdown schedules for utility systems.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements in the utility function.
- Liaising with the central team to share knowledge on utility topics.
- Proposing and implementing continuous improvement tasks for utility equipment.
- Leading projects related to energy consumption improvement, decarbonization, unsafe condition improvement, and machine efficiency improvement.
- Supporting the Energy Efficiency Engineer in maintaining, setting up, and repairing energy meters and communication systems.
- Implementing, validating, and documenting hardware and software changes for equipment control, BMS, and MessDas systems.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of working experience in facility maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Strong theoretical knowledge in mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
- Experience in problem-solving and process improvement.
- Expertise in utility supply management.
- Experience with mechanical equipment for Steam & steam recovery systems, compressed air, water treatment, RO, fire prevention, chillers, cooling towers, piping, vacuum, and wastewater treatment.
- Experience managing subordinates (preferred).
- Proficiency in English and the ability to communicate in a multinational environment.
