Our client is a global leader in automotive manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiently applying accounting principles, IFRS knowledge, financial reporting, and accounting tax law.
- Preparing financial statements such as the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow, and Consolidated Statement on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Preparing half-year corporate income tax returns (PND.51), and annual corporate income tax returns (PND.50), and submitting them to the Revenue Department.
- Liaising with outside service providers to assist with the establishment of statutory documents and submitting them to the Ministry of Commerce.
- Preparing BOT data, reporting exceptions in corporate tax, and preparing sales reports, distinguishing between BOI projects and non-BOI projects, along with other requirements from the BOI.
- Preparing entries for accounts, including general ledger accounts and documenting business transactions.
- Assisting with day-to-day clerical responsibilities of the business.
- Handling WHT, VAT, and other monthly tax reports, submitting them to the Revenue Department.
- Assisting others during month-end closing.
- Monitoring and controlling GL and accounting postings.
- Reconciling information in the FI module.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of working experience in finance/accounting in a multi-national company.
- Ability to get things done hands-on in a cross-functional environment.
- Good command of English (oral and written).
- A good team player and leader.
- Experience in SAP is preferred.
