We’re looking for a Marketing Manager for one of the leading packaging companies based in Chonburi, Thailand. The general responsibility of this role includes formulating marketing strategies, planning, execution, market research, new product development, product portfolio management, and marketing communications.

This role will report directly to the Commercial, RTC, and Supply Chain Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Formulation and Execution:

    • Supporting the head of the commercial in defining the right strategy for the assigned territory.
    • Formulating and updating the strategic direction following market requirements, competition landscape, and company positioning.
    • Proposing marketing strategies to the management team.
    • Executing strategies and cooperating with relevant teams, both domestic, regional, and global.
  • Product Management:

    • Managing product portfolios, contributing to sales targets, and gross margin management.
    • Working with the Global Marketing and Innovations team to understand global product availability, pricing strategies, and competitive advantages.
    • Acting as a Product Manager, gaining a deep understanding of products, such as product features, market fit, key selling points, and competitor products.
  • Local Product Development:

    • Conducting market research to identify market opportunities and creating product briefs for design engineering and new product development.
    • Performing market research and surveys.
    • Identifying market opportunities.
    • Conceptualizing products/markets.
    • Validating product designs.
    • Positioning products and pricing.
    • Executing new product launches.
  • Customer Engagement:

    • Supporting the sales team.
    • Visiting customers with the sales team, identifying customer needs, and formulating strategies to meet customers' expectations.
    • Defining key success factors for Aptar’s business.
  • Marketing Communication (B2B Marketing):

    • Creating product presentations, samples, digital marketing, direct mailers, and marketing materials.
    • Managing marketing communication, such as events, exhibitions, etc.
  • Market Research:

    • Compiling and analyzing market data to dive deep into market-relevant application fields and set strategies with the sales team.
    • Directing and supporting market research collection, analysis, and interpretation for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports.

Requirements - Must Have’s:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or any business-related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, logical thinking, and presentation skills.
  • Solid experience as a product manager or in product portfolio management.
  • Marketing communication experience is a plus.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Deep understanding of business principles and practices.
  • Experience in a manufacturing company is a plus.
