Responsibilities:

Production:

  • Developing SMT processes for screen printing, AOI, placement, X-ray, reflow, soldering, and machine parameters for new products.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting SMT equipment problems.
  • Establishing and managing department budgets.
  • Managing department quality objectives and driving improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with IATF16949, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 standards, and other specific customer requirements within the department.
  • Regularly assessing safety and 5S status in the areas.
  • Ensuring the achievement of cost reduction objectives through TQCM.
  • Calculating and analyzing manpower and machine capacity.
  • Ensuring the accomplishment of safety and ergonomic objectives.
  • Ensuring the successful launch of new products.

Plant Engineering:

  • Organizing and managing Plant Engineering, maintenance, and environmental operations.
  • Supervising building construction and equipment installation.
  • Creating and implementing a working environment that fosters empowered, high-performance work teams.
  • Developing and coordinating plant-wide preventive maintenance programs for all production and non-production equipment.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement programs to improve quality, minimize machine and equipment downtime, and reduce overhead operating costs.
  • Providing support to resolve process problems, making design modifications and software changes as required to improve process performance.
  • Training and implementing technician-specific safety programs to provide an efficient and safe working environment for plant technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Mechanics, or related fields.
  • 10 years of experience in SMT processes, NPI, and automotive products.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of the IATF16949 system.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, SPC, Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Whys, and other problem-solving tools.
  • Experience in people management.
