The Production Manager will lead the production team, ensuring the successful execution of all production activities to meet productivity, delivery, quality, and cost targets. This role is crucial in supporting the company’s transformation margin and operating income goals by planning and optimizing manpower allocation and utilization.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and leading the production team to manage and execute all production activities, ensuring productivity, delivery, quality, cost, and departmental KPIs are met.
• Planning headcount allocation and utilizing resources to support production activities in alignment with the company’s build plan and transformation margin and operating income targets.
• Managing manpower utilization, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Overseeing activities related to productivity, quality, and delivery.
• Driving transformation margin and operating income improvements.
• Establishing and setting all productivity goals and KPIs for the production department.
• Assisting in assigning staffing to meet all departmental goals and KPIs.
• Managing the team and coordinating day-to-day activities while enhancing workflow and efficiencies.
• Facilitating production department staff meetings and generating action plans to impact production department KPIs.
• Presenting departmental metrics and action plans during management staff meetings.
• Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff to meet all targets and KPIs.
• Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to maintain an accident-free organization.
• Controlling and effectively utilizing production capacity, manpower, equipment, and resources through planning, organizing, and scheduling to minimize losses and maintain high labor efficiency.
• Continuously analyzing current production processes and procedures, proposing improvements, and implementing and following through on agreed-upon changes.
• Proactively developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all departments to achieve high overall effectiveness.
• Establishing and implementing lean manufacturing initiatives to achieve improved business results.
• Developing the skills and knowledge of production supervisors, leaders, technicians, and operators to ensure they perform their jobs effectively.
• Performing other activities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Being accountable for business goals related to transformation margin and operating income.
• Effectively managing costs and identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies and overall effectiveness.
• Developing and communicating goals and key initiatives to improve plant performance and success, including transformation margin and operating income.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Production Management or as a Production Supervisor within the EMS or Electronics industry.
• English: Must have a high level of proficiency in the English language.
