Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that align with the hotel’s standards. You will lead kitchen operations, manage the culinary team, and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking dishes according to the menu, guest preferences, and culinary standards.
- Supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety, hygiene standards, and proper food handling are consistently met.
- Assisting with menu planning, recipe development, and selecting high-quality ingredients.
- Monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing food costs efficiently.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served to guests, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
- Training, mentoring, and developing kitchen staff to uphold the hotel’s culinary standards.
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in the kitchen.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Chef in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Creativity in menu planning, food preparation, and food presentation.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
