PRTR IT Recruitment has been operating since 1995, supporting our client, who specializes in pooling and returnable packaging solutions for supply chains, operating in 12 regions throughout the Asia Pacific.
Job Description:
- Actively providing support to internal users, fostering a positive IT service culture and ensuring satisfaction.
- Travelling to various sites across the SEA region (Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines) to provide tech support.
- Maintaining and improving the service desk system by documenting IT-related problems and solutions in the technical database.
- Setting up, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware, software, and infrastructure.
- Supporting and participating in IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and outages.
- Maintaining records, updating inventory, and managing the service database.
- Providing training to users on IT systems and processes.
- Implementing and administering security systems to safeguard IT infrastructure.
- Monitoring IT infrastructure to ensure the maximum availability of the production environment by providing effective support.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Regional IT Service Desk or IT Service Desk roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies, Windows infrastructure, virtual environments, MDM, and FortiGate security devices.
- Flexibility to support 2 sites (Wang Noi Ayudhya, and 2-3 times per year at BKK).
- Ability to travel overseas for support at regional sites (at least 1 time per year).
- Good command of English communication (reporting work directly to Hong Kong).
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
