Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Trade Marketing Manager to join their team, focusing on the Modern Trade (MT) channel. This role is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, sales growth, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing trade marketing strategies tailored specifically for the Modern Trade channel to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
- Collaborating with sales teams to identify key opportunities within the MT channel and aligning marketing strategies accordingly.
- Creating and managing promotional campaigns, including in-store displays, events, and product launches, to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
- Analyzing market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to inform trade marketing plans and initiatives.
- Working closely with key account managers to support their sales efforts through effective marketing tools and materials.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of trade marketing programs and initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement based on performance data.
- Developing training materials and conducting training sessions for sales teams and customers on product knowledge and trade programs.
- Managing the trade marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- Fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and distributors, to align marketing efforts and objectives.
- Contributing to the overall marketing strategy and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing or a related role, preferably within the FMCG sector or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of Modern Trade dynamics and customer behaviour.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing campaigns.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
