Job Description

Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements following accounting standards.
  • Preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making processes.
  • Maintaining compliance with local accounting regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
  • Collaborating with external auditors and relevant stakeholders during audits to ensure seamless processes.
  • Monitoring and analyzing costing processes, inventory management, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounts for the manufacturing business.
  • Overseeing fixed assets management and depreciation schedules.
  • Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial accuracy.
  • Driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and system upgrades to optimize accounting workflows.
  • Supervising and mentoring accounting team members, ensuring team effectiveness and alignment with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPD certification is a must.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
  • Proficient in managing financial closings (including PAEs) and accounting systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards (TFRS), tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar software).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and reporting.
  • Good command of English.
