JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and reduce supply risk.
- Conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.
- Developing strong relationships with key suppliers and maintaining open communication channels.
- Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on rigorous criteria, including performance metrics, financial stability, and quality standards.
- Monitoring supplier performance and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conducting regular supplier reviews and performance evaluations.
- Leading complex contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and conditions.
- Developing and negotiating contracts that align with organizational goals and risk management strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all sourcing activities.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities through value engineering, supplier consolidation, and other strategic initiatives.
- Implementing cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or delivery.
- Assessing and mitigating supply chain risks, including supplier disruptions, geopolitical events, and natural disasters.
- Developing contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
- Mentoring and guiding junior sourcing team members, providing support and direction.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve sourcing objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or any related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sourcing and procurement in the electronics part commodity.
- Proven experience in supervising and mentoring team members.
- Proven track record of successful sourcing strategies and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English.
