Job Description
Our client is seeking a Technical Services & Quality Manager for one of our global clients, who are the number one in the world in manufacturing patented products.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supporting the Product Sourcing Manager in covering unsupported glove QA and certification work for a group of companies.
- Working closely with factories and cross-functional teams to ensure that business cases and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Managing relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
- Supervising the QA team to achieve KPIs, targets, and company policies.
- Coordinating with factories to ensure that the highest quality of the company’s products is maintained.
- Reporting serious or repeated failures or unreliability in the quality of products to the Product and Quality Manager and all concerned parties.
- Recommending appropriate corrective actions or plans to minimize defects in products.
- Handling company ISO9001:2015 and ISO13485:2016, ensuring the compliance of all concerned operations and processes.
- Conducting internal audits to ensure conformity by implementing corrective actions to improve quality and services.
- Liaising with certified bodies in the UK, EU, Ireland, etc., for glove performance tests.
- Coordinating with test laboratories on product tests, ensuring all products supplied meet customer requirements.
- Preparing samples and necessary documents for testing.
- Conducting and arranging quality audits with factories as required by certified bodies.
- Handling other reports as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in Operations Management, Sales, or Business Development in an industrial business environment.
- Experience in the glove industry or the PPE market is preferred but not essential; experience with international Sales/Export Sales is also preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO13485 is preferable.
- Strong leadership skills with excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivation and willingness to learn new knowledge.
- Good command of written and spoken English (TOEIC score above 800).
- Must be able to travel (occasionally, including weekends or holidays).
