Our client is the world’s leading manufacturer of safety equipment.
The HR and Admin Manager will report directly to the Thai Finance Manager and Expatriate MD and will be responsible for the following key functions:
- Recruiting:
- Executing the full recruitment process, including job posting, screening applications, scheduling interviews, interviewing candidates, and communicating with candidates, hiring managers, and concerned departments.
- Performing job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
- Developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications.
- Coordinating and supervising probation performance.
- Monitoring and applying HR recruiting best practices.
- Controlling and managing manpower budgets and costs.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Reviewing compensation and benefits, as well as payroll operations.
- Assessing the local market through surveys and networking, analyzing results, and making recommendations for changes, including structure design.
- Participating in designing programs to develop competitive reward systems and compensation & benefits systems.
- Employee Relations:
- Planning and creating employee relations and communication activities.
- Acting as an HR consultant for line managers, supervisors, and general staff regarding manpower concerns.
- Responding to employee relations issues, such as employee grievances.
- Providing input in dispute and arbitration cases.
- Performance Management:
- Developing performance appraisal systems.
- Ensuring smooth performance management processes and providing recommendations.
- Training and Development:
- Conducting end-to-end talent review and succession planning processes.
- Conducting annual training and development needs assessments.
- Supporting the management of the talent pipeline, reviewing individual performance and potential, identifying talent, and developing roadmaps.
- Implementing the Transitional Development Program, Talent Management activities, and other Learning Journeys.
- Administrative:
- Controlling all HR activities and company regulations to ensure compliance with Thai labour laws.
- Supervising and providing input on general administrative management.
- Performing ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR management or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience working as an HR generalist, preferably in an international company, reporting to a foreign national.
- Strong human relations, a positive attitude, high responsibility, and problem-solving skills with a good service mindset.
- Strong self-motivation, proactivity, and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- The successful candidate will be fluent in English, proficient in MS Office and various IT tools, and will possess a service-oriented, mature, and pleasant personality with excellent organizational skills.
