Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager will be leading the maintenance department, ensuring the operational reliability and efficiency of all machinery, equipment, facilities, and utilities within the beverage production facility. This role involves managing CAPEX projects, overseeing the MOC process, and ensuring strict adherence to HSE standards. The manager will be responsible for reducing breakdowns, improving MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and optimizing OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). The role also includes leading TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) programs, energy-saving initiatives, and ensuring the accurate use of SAP and AutoCAD systems for maintenance management and design. The Maintenance Manager will be driving cost-saving strategies, aiming for zero breakdowns, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading, managing, and developing a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- Overseeing and managing CAPEX projects related to the maintenance and improvement of facilities, machinery, and utilities.
- Implementing and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs to reduce MTBF and MTTR.
- Ensuring maintenance records and work orders are accurately logged in SAP for tracking and reporting.
- Leading and managing the Management of Change (MOC) process for any changes to equipment, systems, or maintenance procedures.
- Overseeing the maintenance and efficient operation of the facility’s infrastructure and utility systems, including HVAC, electrical, water, compressed air, and waste systems.
- Ensuring all maintenance operations comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulations.
- Monitoring and managing SPBT, aiming for improvements in response times, fault identification, and resolution processes to reduce production downtime.
- Monitoring OEE metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve equipment availability, performance, and quality.
- Reviewing and interpreting Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering drawings to ensure the proper use of spare parts and equipment during maintenance activities.
- Developing and implementing cost-saving strategies for maintenance operations, focusing on reducing maintenance costs, downtime, and unplanned repairs.
- Preparing and presenting regular maintenance reports to senior management, highlighting performance, improvements, issues, and budget status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role in maintenance within the beverage or food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of OEE, MTBF, MTTR, TPM, and CSD (Critical Spare Parts Distribution).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
