Our client is a well-known multinational company (MNC) in the F&B industry.

Overview:
The C&B Operations Lead will oversee the activation and execution of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Local Business Operations services. The role ensures HR operations are effectively managed within agreed global, sector, and local SLAs and KPIs for Thailand, as well as for the two BU HQs (Indochina Foods & Asia Bev GMD) and other sector/corporate employees based in Bangkok.

This position focuses on improving employee engagement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing Employee-Related Costs (ERC) across Thailand, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore. The role collaborates with the Asia BU HR & Finance Planning Team for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Planning. Additionally, it oversees local payroll administration in coordination with the Finance team and leads the C&B operations team in stakeholder support and building strong relationships with local labor authorities.

The role also drives continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes, and aligning with the Asia BU HR process strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery & Operations: Ensure effective C&B operations services delivery, emphasizing process improvements, compliance, and optimization. This includes managing payroll, benefits, allowances, medical programs, and more.
  • HR Process Integration: Collaborate with LBS HR Tower Lead, GBS, HBS, HRBPs, and HR COEs to standardize C&B processes, integrate tools, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Benefits & Payroll Management: Oversee benefits (e.g., LSA, annual check-ups), allowances, and ensure employee salaries and benefits comply with legislation. Resolve payroll issues efficiently.
  • Salary & Bonus Planning: Support salary planning and the annual bonus process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance.
  • Work Permits & Relocation: Manage work permits for foreign employees in Thailand and oversee relocation processes across Asia BU, APAC, and corporate entities.
  • Health & Well-being: Lead local and global initiatives related to employee health and wellness programs.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization: Drive process improvements and implement best practices in C&B operations, ensuring alignment with Asia BU HR objectives.
  • Cost Management: Manage ERC across multiple countries, working with HR and Finance teams on cost analyses and productivity improvements.
  • Compliance & Legal Framework: Ensure adherence to legal regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR stakeholders to support salary planning, bonus processes, and other key initiatives.
  • Business Continuity: Develop and implement local business continuity plans in coordination with the LBS HR Tower Lead.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR operations, payroll, and compensation & benefits management.
    • Proven experience in leading compensation initiatives, salary surveys, and market pricing analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel proficiency, able to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in service management and resolving complex issues.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Expertise in payroll, taxation, social security, and legal compliance requirements.
  • System Proficiency: Proficient in using HR-related systems for data management and extraction.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational and planning abilities.
