Our client specializes in designing and producing furniture.
Responsibilities:
- Establish cost estimation goals during the design and development stages, proposing cost-efficient strategies.
- Collect proposals, specifications, and related documents, collaborating with stakeholders to translate specifications into cost estimates for both new and existing products.
- Apply cost analysis techniques, specialized tools, and software to generate and maintain accurate, reliable data.
- Develop production process cost estimates, assess tooling costs, and recommend alternative solutions for improvement.
- Evaluate product cost efficiency, monitor actual costs against budgets, and regularly report on budget alignment to ensure financial accuracy.
- Conduct cost analysis to identify and pursue cost-saving opportunities.
- Participate in cost tracking and reporting systems while observing and analyzing trends.
- Actively support cost estimation processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze material costs for component designs from concept to production.
- Offer design feedback to optimize costs and enhance processing efficiency.
- Provide support in preparing transfer pricing documentation.
- Assist with all aspects of transfer pricing compliance and advisory services.
- Perform functional and benchmarking analyses to support transfer pricing requirements.
- Ensure the implementation and execution of effective transfer pricing strategies.
- Advise management on transfer pricing matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams and tax authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify and capitalize on transfer pricing opportunities within the organization.
- Innovate new processes and functions to enhance the transfer pricing framework.
- Assist in designing business models for supply chain management optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficient in financial analysis of technical concepts with a solid grasp of production workflows.
- 3–5 years of experience in cost engineering, encompassing commercial, scheduling, contractual, managerial, and technical expertise.
- Proven expertise in managing engineering projects effectively.
- Skilled at handling multiple tasks and responsibilities independently, ensuring accountability for outcomes.
- Strong capability to drive change initiatives and manage conflict resolution.
- Exceptional analytical skills for addressing complex or unconventional challenges.
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
