Job Description

Our client is a multinational FMCG manufacturer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the HSE Manager to establish, communicate, and monitor site-specific strategies and annual HSE plans, aligning with global and regional strategies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement HSE management systems and procedures in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Serve as the technical expert for HSE matters at the site.
  • Investigate HSE-related incidents, utilizing tools to determine root causes, and develop preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Ensure effective implementation of corrective actions from site or external incidents.
  • Deploy and maintain HSE standards to ensure compliance with both company requirements and Thai regulations.
  • Establish an industrial workplace monitoring program and conduct daily site walks to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety through activities aimed at enhancing associate knowledge and awareness.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with site security standards and company requirements.
  • Provide HSE training for associates and contractors, following competency matrices, company requirements, and Thai regulations.
  • Organize and facilitate safety committee meetings and submit minutes to the appropriate governing body.
  • Provide safety equipment and personal protective gear tailored to specific task risks.
  • Implement risk management systems and environmental impact assessments, ensuring proper training and control measures are in place.
  • Submit all required HSE permits and reports to governing authorities within specified timelines.
  • Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes, set preventive actions, and analyze site safety trends.
  • Ensure facilities comply with the Emergency Policy and Procedures and maintain a robust training program for emergency preparedness.
  • Conduct occupational health assessments to safeguard associates against task-related health impacts.
  • Act as an internal auditor to ensure site compliance with HSE standards and provide reports to the HSE Manager.
  • Represent the HSE Manager in site leadership team meetings when required.
  • Support audits, internal reviews, and team meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related Science field.
  • Safety license and/or professional safety certification in compliance with Thai Safety and Health regulations is highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years in safety management, with expertise in:
      • ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
      • Security management
      • Occupational health management
    • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), WPT (Work Permit), WAH (Work at Height), confined space management, machine safety, and contractor management.
    • Experience managing and developing a team.
    • Project management experience in driving organization-wide improvement programs.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
