Our client is a global leader in automotive products manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Preparing Material Planning Issue material requirements to suppliers.
- Preparing production plans and coordinating with the internal production team to ensure quality and delivery.
- Coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders to prevent the material shortage and ensure on-time delivery, as well as, customers to provide any prompt support.
- Monitoring daily material usage requirements and optimal FG inventory.
- Ensuring and following up on material schedules with suppliers to meet material supply continuity and material inventory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Production planning and/ or Material planning in automotive manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Good at MS Excel and experience in ERP systems would be preferred.
- Experience in liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal production.
- Knowledge of Kanban systems.
- Good command of English.
