Responsibilities

• Conducting feasibility studies for new CMD/Security Seal projects using 3D SolidWorks and AutoCAD, focusing on identifying factory products and tooling costs to support the commercial team.
• Leading product development activities for APQP, specifically related to injection moulding tooling and processes, collaborating with tool suppliers on DFM and trial phases for new tooling.
• Overseeing product development for PPAP, securing customer approvals, and monitoring product performance post-SOP to ensure smooth operations.
• Spearheading Security Seal product development and providing technical support for product improvements in VAVE, quality enhancement, and customer feedback resolution.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of prior experience in product design and development involving plastic injection tooling and processes.
• Exceptional project coordination skills with the capability to manage cross-functional collaboration.
• Expertise in cost evaluation and design refinement methodologies.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
• Advanced critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
• Competence in 3D modelling tools and documentation software.
