Job Summary

An EMS company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Facility Engineer with expertise in managing high-voltage substations, cleanroom facilities, and greenfield projects. This role involves overseeing the operation, maintenance, and development of facility systems for a new factory. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical power engineering, cleanroom management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

High-Voltage Substation Operations:

  • Operating and maintaining substations up to 115kV, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliability.
  • Performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize equipment lifespan and prevent downtime.

Cleanroom Facility Management:

  • Overseeing the maintenance and operations of cleanroom environments, ensuring adherence to contamination control and industry standards.
  • Ensuring cleanroom systems, including HVAC and filtration, are functioning at peak performance.

Greenfield Project Management:

  • Leading facility management aspects of the greenfield factory development, including construction oversight, commissioning, and integration of infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with contractors and cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Facility Operation and Maintenance:

  • Managing daily operations of critical facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  • Implementing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system functionality and minimize disruptions.

Energy Management:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce consumption.
  • Monitoring energy usage and recommending system upgrades or optimizations for sustainability.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensuring all facility operations align with ISO standards and local regulations.
  • Conducting regular audits and maintaining documentation to support compliance efforts.

Shutdowns and Emergency Maintenance:

  • Coordinating scheduled shutdowns for maintenance, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
  • Being available for emergency maintenance and troubleshooting, including during holidays or off-hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in facility management, including cleanroom facilities, high-voltage substations (up to 115kV), and greenfield project environments.
  • Proven experience in construction management and commissioning of new facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and cleanroom operations.
  • Proficiency in energy management and compliance with ISO standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Certifications in project management, energy management, or ISO auditing.
  • Familiarity with facility management tools like AutoCAD, BMS, BIM, and SMART systems.
