Job Responsibilities
- Planning the procurement of recyclable raw materials, spare parts, and various materials and equipment. Evaluate market prices and define specifications, categorizing items in coordination with relevant departments.
- Sourcing and selecting new suppliers according to the company’s specifications and standards.
- Researching to support purchasing decisions.
- Comparing suppliers in terms of price, product quality, and service, presenting pros and cons for decision-making.
- Negotiating with suppliers to benefit the business.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and partners to support mutual business growth.
- Using information systems, such as ERP and API, to execute procurement processes effectively.
- Coordinating with suppliers to request quotations and confirm delivery schedules.
- Collaborating with internal and external departments related to procurement, ensuring smooth workflows and problem resolution to achieve targets within set timelines.
- Tracking and following up on the timely delivery of purchased items as per purchase orders, coordinating with relevant departments.
- Receiving goods upon delivery, inspecting specifications, product quality, and pricing to meet company standards.
- Processing documentation to seek approval for purchases according to procedures.
- Monitoring the arrival of products, materials, and supplies to meet scheduled timelines.
- Reviewing and evaluating both new and existing suppliers regarding product quality and service.
- Organizing purchasing documentation and managing contracts related to procurement, preparing purchase reports as needed.
- Monitoring, analysing, assessing, and selecting the most suitable suppliers, preparing summary reports for management.
- Developing and improving the company’s purchasing system and creating a procurement manual.
Qualifications
- Male/Female, Age 28-40 years old.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Material Engineering, Logistics, MBA, BBA, or other related fields.
- At least 3-5 years of experience working in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply chain or related in Textile, Garment, Clothes or other.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in ERP software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong management skills, patience, honesty, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Positive work attitude, Quick thinking and creativity.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of textiles is an advantage.
