Job Description
Our client specializes in the manufacturing of compressor systems.
Responsibilities:
- To assist in developing proposals for electrical and instrumentation (E&I) aspects.
- To review specifications and create budget estimates for instruments, PLC panels, and other relevant components.
- To generate E&I enquiries and liaise with vendors.
- To compile essential E&I documentation for bidding purposes.
- To work closely with the Project Engineer on electrical and instrumentation aspects, following these steps:
- Attend internal hand-over meetings and client kick-off meetings.
- Review pre-order documents alongside the Project Engineer.
- Provide the Project Engineer with information necessary for baseline document preparation.
- Coordinate with the Procurement and Engineering Departments to place orders.
- Offer technical support in evaluating vendor quotations.
- Prepare and submit required documentation for client approvals.
- Collaborate with the Project Engineer to track project progress with Production and QC teams.
- Coordinate final documentation with vendors and the Project Assistant.
- Work with the Project Engineer to close the punch list following equipment delivery to the site.
- To oversee E&I installations and commissioning at both the workshop and client locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in related fields.
- Experience in instrument design and procurement of electric motors, PLC, and DCS.
- Skilled in PLC programming (Siemens, AB), ladder logic diagrams, JB & control panel details, single-line diagrams, and I/O lists.
- Willing to work internationally.
- Knowledge of HV motors is a plus.
- Positive, proactive, adaptable, and energetic.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and PLC programming software.
- Rayong resident with own transportation preferred.
