Our client is a globally well-known food manufacturer. The company is looking for a suitable candidate for a Food Quality Management Technologist to support the main operation site in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), Thailand. This role ensures that finished products are safe for consumers, meet customer expectations, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Job Description
- Implementing and managing global Quality and Food Safety (Q&FS) standards, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements, including QMP, HACCP, FMMS, FSSC22000, and GMP standards.
- Leading the internal audit program, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and managing the site’s Quality and Food Safety change management process for new products, equipment, and processes.
- Overseeing third-party certification audits for Quality and Food Safety Management systems, as well as external audits from local authorities (DLD) or relevant regulatory bodies.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives related to Quality and Food Safety within the site, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and process efficiency.
- Collaborating with the Quality and Food Safety Manager and QMP Manager to manage product-related incidents, conduct risk analysis, and provide recommendations for product disposition.
- Reviewing global standards and leading gap assessments to ensure compliance with both internal and regulatory requirements, including continuous improvement of the Food Defense Plan and quality systems.
- Being a champion of the on-site Quality Culture program, working closely with key stakeholders to foster a culture of quality at the shop floor level, while aligning with regional and global quality initiatives.
- Partnering with supply chain, R&D, and other key stakeholders to implement product and process changes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality conformance systems.
- Providing technical expertise in quality system management, including incident investigation and data analysis to drive product quality improvements and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Managing the internal quality audit function, ensuring associates receive adequate training and that robust corrective and preventative actions are in place.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in Quality and Food Safety Management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of QMP, HACCP, FSSC22000, GMP, and other relevant quality standards.
- Experience managing audits and certification processes.
- Proven ability to lead continuous improvement projects and quality culture initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholders.
- Good English communication is a Must
- Able to work in Pak Chong–Korat.
