Our client is a wholesale machinery and equipment for use in industry from Germany.
Responsibilities
Sales
- Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with new and existing customers.
- Developing and establishing sales strategies to generate revenue and expand market share.
- Actively developing account development strategies to increase Sales figures from existing as well as new customers.
- Being accountable for meeting sales targets and marketing objectives as well as new market developments.
- Possessing drive, motivation and attention to detail ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored.
- Gathering market information on customer’s activities, projects and sales forecasts.
- Assisting customers with any technical issues and building good rapport with customers.
Application Engineering
- Demonstrating strong product, technical and marketing knowledge with a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of the job.
- Organizing product training, seminars, and product introductions for all levels of people as well as ensuring trainees are well trained with successful certification.
- Doing on-site support to perform checks, gather information, analyze customers' needs and early failures, make product recommendations, and perform testing & follow-ups.
- Handling post-sales analysis of technical problems, troubleshooting, service and performing product testing to help improve product reliability, safety maintainability etc.
- Managing and maintaining technical documents, and certifications as well as developing the training program with tests and updating it on an ongoing basis.
- Ensuring ample stock of marketing and training materials.
- Handling claims and complaints from customers efficiently and professionally and feedback the same to the relevant department and/or factory for effective solutions.
- Providing support for Quality Management related matters.
- Undertaking any instruction delegated by the superior from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 - 5 years experience in Sales for Distributors and technical experience and proven record in belt Power Transmission, Bearing, Gearbox or a related industry.
- Sales experience with Distributors.
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently, self-driven and with a positive attitude.
- Ability to read and write English; Fluent in Thai (both written and spoken).
- Have a private car and driving license, Able to travel (60 %).
