Job Description
Our client has been a world leader in materials testing for over 50 years. The office is located in Bangkok, with easy access from the MRT.
As a key member of the financial organization, this position is responsible for providing accounting functions and administrative support which include AR, AP, Inventory, Fixed Asset and General Ledger.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, and providing financial reporting and schedules.
- Verifying employee’s expense reports and vendor invoices.
- Issuing Tax Invoices, processing all payments and receipt transactions.
- Preparing monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement.
- Liaising with affiliate offices on the reconciliation of Inter-company balances.
- Supporting financial analysis and planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Dealing with local external auditors and internal auditors from the parent company.
- Taxation: Handling monthly tax forms such as PND.1, PND.3, PND.53, PND.54, Por.Por.30.
- Doing Por.36, yearly employee income tax form PND.1 Kor, half-year tax PND.51 and yearly tax return computation PND.50.
- Human Resources: Preparing payroll tax computation and payroll slip, monthly Social Security Fund to the Social Security Office.
- Handling general office administration including local purchasing, replenishment of stationery, office refreshments etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's Degree or professional.
- Solid understanding of financial software and ERP systems.
- Fluent in both Thai and English.
- CPD holder.
