Job Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities, value-added initiatives, and process improvements across the procurement lifecycle.
- Staying informed about market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in procurement practices.
- Identifying and evaluating potential vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Negotiating favourable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and on-time delivery of goods and services.
- Designing, implementing, and managing efficient end-to-end procurement processes, including requisition, approval, sourcing, purchasing, and payment.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Streamlining workflows and leveraging technology to automate manual processes wherever possible.
- Providing effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the procurement team.
- Setting clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
- Fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages continuous improvement.
- Leading contract negotiations and reviewing contractual terms to minimize risk and maximize benefits.
- Collaborating with legal and relevant departments to ensure contracts are well-drafted and legally sound.
- Monitoring contract compliance and performance, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Developing and managing the procurement budget, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Implementing cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Analyzing spending patterns and identifying areas for cost reduction and optimization.
- Generating regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess procurement performance.
Qualifications
- 30-40 years old, Thai Nationality.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing and procurement from Trading, Advertising or related industries is a must.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, strategic sourcing, contract management, and vendor relations.
- Quick learner, Good communication skills and detail-oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to procurement.
- Able to communicate in Chinese with HSK 5 or HSK 6.
- Able to work 5 days/week near BTS Saint Louise.
