Our client is a leading supplier of manufacturing products.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, evaluating, and selecting qualified suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capabilities.
• Negotiating favourable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and delivery schedules.
• Managing supplier relationships, including performance reviews, contract renewals, and dispute resolution.
• Assessing supplier capabilities and performing supplier development projects.
• Scheduling supplier visits, conducting supplier surveys and audits as needed
• Analyzing supply chain performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Implementing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical, and Polymer Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Purchasing role within a Plastic group from the manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of Plastic commodities.
• Able to communicate in English in writing and speaking.
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with ERP systems.
