Job Description
Our client is an EMS company. They are now looking for a Production Manager who can handle improvements and drive change.
Responsibilities:
- Develop plans to help operations run smoothly.
- Define and monitor KPI’s and individual target setting.
- Supervise and motivate employees to achieve the production plan in terms of Revenue, OTD, quality and company KPI’s.
- Manage production resources (Manpower, OT, WIP, Inventory; Machinery).
- Coordinate and align departments towards goals: Review weekly build plans with the team, and ensure the build plan is achieved.
- Liaise with Planning, Quality and Engineering/R&D departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Be an active member of weekly operations meetings.
- Maintain and monitor workflow steps by; observing control points; monitoring personnel and resources, resolving scheduling conflicts and developing reporting procedures and systems.
- Coordinate/lead improvement projects and identify ways to increase productivity.
- Collect and review data to reduce waste/inefficiencies.
- Create and control budgets.
- Coordinate the implementation of quality management systems for mechanical parts following ISO standards (ISO9001 and ISO14001).
- Ensure processes are documented: SOP and work instructions are up to date.
- Review JDs, recruit new employees and ensure a smooth onboarding & clarity on roles and responsibilities and knowledge transfer.
- Develop training and career development plans for existing employees.
- Support the team with problem-solving methodologies for effective resolution.
- Evaluate and coach employees.
- Encourage/facilitate a safe and organized (5’s) environment.
- Prepare and support the evidence for internal/external audit activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or any other related field.
- Has knowledge and experience in mechanical part production processes such as CNC, laser cutting, and plastic injection.
- Strong project management skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of plant and manufacturing processes.
- Very good English.
- Able to relocate to Lamphun.
- Able to work 6 days per week.
