Our client is seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to join the team, focusing on managing relationships with key clients in the Modern Trade (MT) and Consumer Value Stores (CVS) sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring customer satisfaction within assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts in the Modern Trade and Consumer Value Store sectors.
  • Identifying opportunities for account growth and executing strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Conducting regular meetings with key clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
  • Analyzing sales performance and market trends to make informed decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create promotional plans and materials tailored to key accounts.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Preparing and presenting sales reports, forecasts, and account performance analytics to management.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with key accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Providing training and support to customers on product features and benefits to enhance sales and utilization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management, preferably in the FMCG or retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of the MT and CVS market dynamics and customer behaviour.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
