Our client is an automotive parts manufacturer.
Responsibilities
The purpose of this position will be to report to the Manufacturing Engineering Section Head.
- Being responsible for supporting Engineering Projects, time studies and standard time collection, work combination for all process preparation as well as manufacturing process control and process.
- Reducing process defects, finding the root cause of problems and taking corrective & preventive action.
- Supporting IATF16949 System: Follow Process, Flow Chart, Control Plan, FMEA, Engineer Technical Standard, Working Standard and Improvement JPH of line.
- Managing new projects to achieve quality, budget control and timeline.
- Installing and trialling new machines or lines to support new projects to achieve process design: OEE, cycle time and process defect.
- Designing and preparing tooling & equipment to support current & new model production.
- Supporting new model launch by coordinating with the APQP team, preparing the document, trialling and keeping machine condition.
- Issuing and supporting change management review (PCR & ECR).
Qualifications
- Male or female, 25-35 years old.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or any related field, preferably an automotive field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing, Fin forming, Aluminum stamping, CAB brazing, Aluminum surface treatment, and Helium leak testing would be an advantage; in heat exchangers or HVAC products.
- Statistical methods and tools.
- AutoCAD, Solid Works basic knowledge.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Familiar with IATF16949 and ISO14001.
- Able to communicate in English.
