Our client is a global manufacturer of high-quality food ingredients.

They're looking for a Key Account Manager and the key responsibilities of this position will be to generate new business, maintain existing customer accounts, maximise business potential and identify market trends. He/She must handle a portfolio of accounts and will have full account management responsibility with an added brief to develop new business, principally maintaining and developing close working relationships with the customers to gain sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying profile, target, classify and prioritize processors (current & potential) for value-added products and achieving penetration of targeted companies in Thailand.
  • Establishing & maintaining regular contact with processors and facilitating technical support for line trials at the processor's factory.
  • Inputting to AOP, budget, sales goals, forecast and sector objectives.
  • Developing account plan & achieving agreed sales forecast, goals and objectives.
  • Managing projects & liaising with R&D, QA, CS and regulations in source unit business countries to ensure flawless execution.
  • Building strong multilevel relationships within selected accounts to promote GL products and solution-selling services.

Professional Experience

  • Relevant in food industry experience and with a minimum of 5 years experience in a Sales role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or Marketing or Commercial or higher level. Good understanding of the import-export process.
  • International exposure through travel and customer meetings/presentations.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the capability to add value to customers' business and have relationships.
  • Good command of English.
