Scope of duties
- Import/Export Operations: Overseeing transportation operations (1PL-5PL), import/export processing (truck, air, sea), and customs clearance for shipments.
- Order and Material Management: Monitoring the status of intercompany and purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and handling material management for imports.
- Data Management and Reporting: Ensuring accurate data input into the PSD system and providing timely reports to management.
- Procurement and Quotation Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies by obtaining 3 quotations for all purchases and developing supplier comparisons.
- Vendor and Procurement Support: Working with engineers and warehouses to prepare materials, adjust standard materials, and manage vendor registration and procurement protocols.
- Financial Coordination: Managing Letter of Credit (L/C) processes, coordinating inspections, negotiating vendor claims, verifying invoice payments, and preparing export invoicing.
- Department Coordination: Managing communication with all departments and providing internal and external customer service and support.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in inbound/outbound logistics, BOI processes, purchasing, or business administration.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documents, MS Office applications, and material management software.
- Language Proficiency: Good command of English (spoken and written); experience working with foreigners is an advantage.
- Interpersonal and Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, planning, organizing, time management, and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented and reliable.
- Work Approach: Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle stress, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines with a structured approach.
