Job Description

Our client is a major in Foods business company.

  • IT Technical Support
    • Handling computer Desktop, Laptop, Printing IT Accessories, and user software (Microsoft 365 tools and other applications).
    • Supporting IT Infrastructure including Servers and networks (LAN, WAN, Wireless) throughout the Plant.
    • Providing support to Workplace Services Technology (Video Conference, Meeting Rooms).
    • Supporting to Plant’s operation technologies that include, handheld devices (Barcode Scanners, Android and IOS Tablet, Label Printing and OT Servers as required.
    • Performing system monitoring and technical health checks for IT devices, video conference equipment and other IT facility tools (UPS, Server Room Air-Con, CCTVs).
    • Monitoring IT incidents and service request tickets and escalation. Attend major incidents and provide support and situation updates to the management team.
    • Handling technical support for local events audio/visual, IT preparation e.g., Townhall Events.
    • Assisting remote site IT Support (3rd party warehouses, site’s offices, and other plant and office). This will require remote or travel to a remote site as required.
  • Project Support
    • Providing technical coordination on technical project implementation (server & network upgrade, hardware replacement, plant operations projects, and other IT project implementation.
    • Coordinating with a local team for IT project requirements and informing managers of project initiatives.
    • Coordinating with the global IT team (in English) within project implementation calls, providing status reports, UAT and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain IT Assets Inventory
    • Supporting IT Asset Inventory process and ensuring accuracy of IT assets in/out including Desktop, Laptop, IT Accessories, Network equipment, Server, and mobile devices.
    • Performing local IT asset physical count.
  • Communication
    • Providing local IT communication on IT updates (New tools announcement, upgrade, planned / unplanned downtime, security events, local incidents communication, and related topics).
    • Providing communication to local users on downtime/update status etc.
    • Reporting local IT requirements to the management team.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT support focused on end-user IT support including PC, Laptops, Printers, Mobile Devices, and user IT accessories.
  • Experience in IT Asset Management and Conducting IT Inventory tracking for the site.
  • Experience in enterprise server and network technologies e.g. HPE Dell and Cisco Network Hardware.
  • Experience in enterprise unified communications tools, e.g. IP Telephonies, MS Teams, Zoom, and Video Conference Systems (Poly).
  • Experience in technical project deployment support (Network, Server, End Users Computing).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Tools, (SharePoint, OneDrive, Office applications).
  • Experience in supporting manufacturing plant environments e.g. Production Line, Warehouse, SAP Systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing IT/OT infrastructure is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management / ITIL process is preferred.
  • Good Command of English and Thai communication.
  • Service-minded attitude.
