Job Description

PRTR is working with an enterprise company and is currently looking for an Automated Tester Manager.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing effective test strategies and plans for automated testing.
  • Creating and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Executing automated test suites and analyzing test results.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Continuously improving test processes, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Mentoring and training junior testers on automation best practices and techniques.
  • Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester) are a plus.
  • Over 7 years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 5 years in automated testing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#.
  • Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
