Job Description

Our client is one of the leading frozen and dry food manufacturing companies. The company is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of QA Manager, based in the manufacturing site in Samutsakorn. This position will oversee all activities related to quality assurance, laboratory operations, and quality control.

Job Description

  • Planning, overseeing, and managing the operations of the QA department, laboratory, and quality control functions to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Providing leadership and direction to QA staff, ensuring that quality assurance activities are effectively carried out and that teams are adequately supported.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of raw materials quality assurance, product quality assurance, quality system operations, and laboratory work.
  • Reporting operating results, quality issues, and assessment findings to senior management, providing actionable recommendations for corrective and improvement measures.
  • Proposing and implementing guidelines to enhance quality assurance processes and outcomes.
  • Regularly assessing department performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose corrective actions to overcome challenges that may impact the department's ability to achieve its goals.
  • Conducting internal and external assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Tracking and addressing any identified defects, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented and followed through following company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in quality management, Food Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in QA, QC and laboratory operations, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing quality systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards e.g., Kosher, GMP, HACCP, Halal, BRC, etc.
  • Good command of English.
