Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Operations Manager.
Warehouse & Logistics
- Leading and supervising inventory control including raw materials and finished goods through cycle counting and inventory policies. Ensuring storage facilities are well-secured, clean, and properly maintained. Oversee physical inventory counts as needed, recording timely and accurate data within company data management systems.
- Keeping a constant check on stock levels.
- Being responsible for the measuring and reporting of the supply base performance for on-time delivery, lead time and order quantity.
- Being the first level of escalation for shortages and expediting resolution and recovery.
- Developing the supply base using lean methodology ensuring their processes and systems are compatible with company requirements and are at a comparable level of operational excellence.
- Assisting and performing regular system validation to the maintenance of the manufacturing database to provide optimum use and to ensure accurate reporting by auditing against inventory.
- Ensuring accurate recordkeeping to account for and track incoming and outgoing inventory by preparing forms and maintaining thorough records within company data management systems. Provide accurate and up-to-date digital and physical inventory records for regular reporting purposes.
Import & Export
- Managing BOI and Free Trade Zone activities for the company.
- Monitoring current BOI and Free Trade certification to ensure compliance with BOI and Free Trade regulations and international policies.
- Handling BOI and Free Trade applications and preparing documents for new products.
- Submitting to obtain a tax refund within lead time.
- Preparing import documentation (AWB, BL, BOI, etc.) and contacting the shipping agent for customs clearance.
- Providing ongoing coaching and development of team members, coordinating training for new hires and continuing advancement of current staff.
- Assisting the Manager/Director in meeting departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) and actively participating in efforts to discover cost savings opportunities / devise implementation plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Warehouse and Logistics management including supervisory responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in warehouse management systems and technology.
- Experience in Freezone.
- Good command of English.
- Possess a forklift license.
- Strong organizational, communication and time management skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
