Position: Sales Engineer (Power Plant, Oil&Gas)
Our client is a heavy machinery manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Presenting and advocating for our products and services to customers.
- Addressing and managing customer requirements, inquiries, and complaints.
- Convincingly offering and delivering satisfying products or services to clients.
- Prospecting for new potential clients and expanding market presence within assigned regions.
- Cultivating new relationships and nurturing existing ones with customers and suppliers.
- Attaining growth targets and meeting sales objectives.
- Offering technical assistance to customers and ensuring product functionality aligns with customer applications.
- Coordinating various sales and delivery activities through effective communication.
- Generating scheduled reports, including daily visit reports and weekly sales summaries.
- Providing training and developing support materials for the sales team.
Qualifications
- Preference is given to applicants of any gender.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Chemical, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated 3-5 years or more of experience in the oil and gas industry or sales.
- Experience in selling control valves, actuators, or hydraulic systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of mechanical, instrumental, or related fields is beneficial.
- Proficiency in English language across all communication facets (speaking, listening, reading, writing, etc.).
- Proactive attitude with a penchant for learning, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate independently within cross-functional teams.
- Strong presentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude and a growth-oriented mindset.
- Possession of a personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
