The company is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Technical Sales Manager to be responsible for the fast-growing Thailand market.
Job Description
- Being responsible for overall commercial & business development for the beverage solution segment.
- Focusing on providing E2E ingredient solutions for target clients in QSR, Chain Restaurant, and Chain Beverage Café.
- Handling new product introductions, distribution, and inventory within Thailand.
- Finding & generating new opportunities as well as maintaining & developing customer relationships for existing clients.
- Preparing and executing data-driven sales presentations to customers using materials from the company’s marketing and insights team.
- Demonstrating the ability to kick start business objectives with knowledge in this sector.
- Capturing market & customer insights. Analyzing performance & forecast trends to identify commercial improvement opportunities as well as sales reports.
- Identifying the opportunities to cross-sell or upsell the company’s ingredients. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams in developing & presenting solutions to customers
- Managing contract negotiations/renewals & ensuring adherence to contractual agreements
- Developing value-generative, long-term relationships with customers that result in increased sales and margins.
- Ensuring full alignment of commercial approach with all key company stakeholders (products/categories/marketing/etc.).
- Partnering with cross-functional & Operations teams to align sales strategy & product offerings with technical and operational capabilities and customer needs.
- Overseeing supply chain aspects for key customer accounts by tracking & managing product warehouse inventory, including periodic ageing analysis and ensuring rotation / timely stock liquidation
- Partnering with logistics and support staff to ensure excellence in contract execution, inventory management, stock ageing, rejections, debtors and vendor payables. Leading the internal response to customer issue resolution.
- Participating in external events as needed to achieve strategic objectives (e.g. trade fairs) and maintaining in-depth technical knowledge of the company’s products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration and related. Technical background in Food Science / Food Technology is a huge plus.
- Minimum 5 years of sales or commercial experience in beverage solutions with solid experience in direct contact with clients in QSR, Chain Café / restaurant.
- Possesses sales experience in key account management and must be able to hunt sales/business development.
- Experience in B2B Sales, development of differentiated customer solutions; Chain Account Management
- Good English communication is a must.
- Excellent presentation & communication skills with a strong sense of commercial mindset & entrepreneurship.
- Understanding of basic financial metrics such as gross profit and other calculations.
- Ability to work independently yet at a matrix level with marketing and R&D.
- Result & Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and deadline-driven.
- Good commercial acumen and ability to stay on top of the market on consumer trends
- Excellent customer relationship management.
- Good technical understanding of beverage solution products.
